Terms of use
These terms cover your use of the PairBook apps and website. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: hello@pairbook.us.
The service
PairBook lets two people keep a shared, private journal of their dates: plans, places, photos, videos, messages, reminders and related notes. You must be at least 18 to use it.
Your account and your partner
- You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that inbox secure, because it is how you sign in.
- You pair with one other person using an invite code. Everything in a shared journal is visible to both of you. Only pair with someone you trust, and only share content you are comfortable with them seeing and keeping.
Your content
- What you add remains yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it to you and your partner, only in order to run the service.
- You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload anything illegal, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or intimate images of any person without their consent.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.
Subscription
- PairBook is a paid subscription: $6 per month or $72 per year, per couple. One subscription covers both partners.
- Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are billed by Apple, renew automatically until cancelled, and are managed or cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple.
- Prices may change; we will tell you before a change affects your renewal.
Cycle tracking
Period, fertile-window and ovulation information in PairBook are estimates based on dates you enter. They are not medical advice and must not be used as a method of contraception or to diagnose anything.
Ending things
You can delete your account, or your whole journal, at any time from the app; see the privacy page for exactly what that erases. Deletion is permanent and we cannot restore deleted data.
Availability and liability
We work to keep PairBook running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties, and may occasionally be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will let you know in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use PairBook after that means you accept the updated terms.
